Given below are the details of a position with one of our clients and was wondering if you would be interested or can recommend someone who would be interested in this job Java Architect (SOA and Microservices) Bethesda, MD Long Term Contract No H1 Transfer candidates please! Description: - 12 -15 Years of overall experience - 4+ years of solution architecture and 6+ years of technical architecture experience - Strong knowledge of UML diagrams and Design Patterns - Should have worked with an onsite-offshore development model - Should have very good communication, time management and co-ordination skills - Experience in Java 8, hands-on with Java parallel processing & SQL - Should have strong knowledge of RESTful microservices principles, design and implementation - Should have strong SQL and database design skills - Should have strong NoSQL and distributed database skills, preferably Cassandra (C*) - Should be 100 % hands-on and will need to actively guide an offshore team on daily/weekly priorities Optional: - Apache Kafka, Apache Spark and Couchbase skills are desirable - Exposure to Docker and AWS cloud services is desirable
