Location :- NYC, NY

Mode :- Hybrid

 

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Murex / Electronic Trading Production Support Engineer to support business-critical trading applications within a fast-paced front-office environment. The role requires strong Murex end-to-end expertise, excellent troubleshooting capabilities, and hands-on experience supporting Traders across Rates, Credit and SSA trading desks.

 

The successful candidate will be comfortable managing complex production issues, working directly with front-office users, and coordinating across technology teams to drive incidents through to resolution.

 

Key Responsibilities

Provide production and application support for Murex and electronic trading systems.

Troubleshoot complex issues across front-office trading applications and production environments.

Work directly with Traders and business users to understand, investigate and resolve system issues.

Support trading activities across Rates, Credit and SSA desks.

Provide support for ION MarketView and/or equivalent in-house electronic trading applications.

Investigate issues end-to-end and ensure they are driven through to resolution, even where the final fix sits with another technology team.

Work closely with development, infrastructure, application support and other technology teams during incident resolution.

Maintain a high level of stability and quality for business-critical production systems.

Build strong working relationships with front-office and technology stakeholders.

Operate effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced trading environment.

 

Mandatory Skills

Strong Murex end-to-end functional and technical knowledge.

Hands-on experience with recent/latest Murex versions.

Strong experience supporting electronic trading / front-office trading environments.

Experience working directly with Traders.

Strong knowledge of Rates and Credit products.

Experience supporting SSA (Sovereign, Supranational & Agency) trading desks.

Experience with ION MarketView or comparable electronic trading/in-house trading platforms.

Excellent production troubleshooting and incident resolution skills.

Ability to diagnose issues across multiple systems and coordinate resolution across support teams.

Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

Experience supporting large-scale investment banking or capital-markets environments.

Understanding of upstream/downstream integrations around Murex.

Knowledge of trade lifecycle and front-to-back processing.

Experience with production monitoring, incident management and root-cause analysis.

Exposure to fixed-income/eTrading environments.
