Job Description
Experience

·         12–15 Years Role Purpose Own the end-to-end quality strategy for the NextGen Annuity MVP across data ingestion, placement, calculation, settlement, UI, APIs, and the AWS-based event-driven architecture.

Key Responsibilities

·         Define QE strategy, automation architecture, test environments, tools, and quality gates.

·         Design test coverage across functional, integration, regression, API, data, and settlement validation.

·         Build traceability from BRDs to test scenarios and acceptance criteria.

·         Establish golden test packs for annuity products, treaty rules, quota share, calculations, and settlements.

·         Guide QE engineers across Data Ingestion, UI, Placement, Calculation, and Settlement streams.

·         Partner with architects, SMEs, DevOps, and product teams on release readiness.

·         Define CI/CD test integration, reporting, defect governance, and quality metrics.

·         Required Skills Strong QE architecture and automation leadership.

·         Insurance/reinsurance or annuity domain experience preferred. API, data validation, event-driven testing, and cloud/AWS testing experience.

·         Experience with test data strategy, regression design, and reconciliation testing.

·         Ability to translate business rules and formulas into testable scenarios.

 

In compliance with the salary transparency law, the expected pay range for this role is $60 - 70/hr. Actual compensation depends on experience and interview evaluation.
