Job Title: Sr. Core Java Developer w/d Market Risk Exp
Location: New York, NY / New Jersey, NJ – 3 Days onsite Role
Long Terem project
Cost: $60-65/hr on C2C, negotiable for right candidates.
Job Description: Developers supporting the technology delivery of the FRTB regulatory program, including risk-data processing, calculation pipelines, data validation, and regulatory controls.
Core technical skills:
- Java: Strong development skills for enterprise applications, APIs, business logic, and integration with existing risk platforms.
- Apache Spark: Distributed data processing, large-scale risk-data transformations, aggregation, and performance optimization.
- Python (optional): Data analysis, automation, validation scripts, testing, and quantitative-data processing.
- Snowflake or Databricks: Experience with at least one platform for data engineering, SQL transformations, data pipelines, and large-scale analytical workloads. Domain requirement
- Prior experience in Market Risk technology within an investment bank or capital-markets environment.
