Title:  SR Core Java Developer With AI
Location: Remote
Duration: Long Term Contract

Key Responsibilities:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Core Java Developer with strong expertise in Java-based application development and exposure to AI/Generative AI technologies. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications while integrating AI-powered capabilities into existing systems and business workflows.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using Core Java, Java 8+, and object-oriented programming principles.
• Build scalable, high-performance backend services and RESTful APIs using Spring Boot and related Java frameworks.
• Apply strong knowledge of multithreading, concurrency, collections, exception handling, JVM, and memory management.
• Develop microservices-based applications and integrate them with databases, messaging systems, and external services.
• Work with AI/ML and Generative AI teams to integrate intelligent capabilities into Java applications.
• Integrate LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, or other enterprise AI services into backend systems.
• Develop AI-enabled workflows, including intelligent search, document processing, chatbot integrations, and automated business processes, as applicable.
• Collaborate with architects, product managers, QA engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Write unit tests, perform code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and follow secure coding practices.
• Use CI/CD pipelines, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms to support application deployment and maintenance.

 

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software development experience, including strong hands-on Core Java expertise.
• Strong knowledge of Java 8/11/17 or later, OOP, collections, multithreading, concurrency, and design patterns.
• Experience with Spring, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, unit testing frameworks, and CI/CD tools.
• Hands-on experience or practical exposure to AI/ML or Generative AI integration.
• Familiarity with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, embeddings, RAG, or AI-powered application development.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating AI services into Java-based enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with LangChain4j, Spring AI, or similar Java-oriented AI frameworks.
• Exposure to vector databases, semantic search, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of Kafka, Redis, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of AI security, responsible AI practices, and data privacy.
